The rebuilding has to wait

Too early happy: Before we can move into the halls, our rooms have to be examined for hazardous materials.

It starts!

The lease is signed. The architect can plan. The conversion begins.

Money and peers

We scrutinize our financing concept for the last time, visit the “Forum non-profit status” about fundraising – and meet at the event many other social entrepreneurs. What an energy boost! Now we discover our fundraising tool of our Bank for Social Economy.

Negotiations start

We enter into lease negotiations with the Tempelhof Projekt GmbH. What we do not know now. It will take more than a year, until we sign.

Present, Talk, Persuade

One of our co-tenants in Tempelhof would be the Berlin police; her voice and control center is located above our future workshop. We can convince them. Our friends and helpers are hooked on the idea of Social Return.

Social Return goes public

To carry out the first talks with future sponsors, we develop PowerPoint presentations and first elements for a website.

We are officially!

We have been now recognized as non-profit organization by the tax office. This means we may accept donations and issue receipts for donations!

We choose our Supervisory Board

With Sebastian Gröger, general manager of Jet Aviation, Dusseldorf, and Dr. Olaf von Maydell, partner in the office of Schomerus, Berlin, we gain two board members with competence and heart.

Light Green Light

Finally a letter of intent from the owner flickers in our mailbox.

New partners in the boat

Greige acquaints us with the publicist Ralf Grauel which gives us strategical advise. Dr. Olaf von Maydell undertakes the function of our tax accountant and brings cumulative experience in the nonprofit area.
